Focus

With the success of Brokeback Mountain, Focus Features is becoming a focus of more eyes. One sentence in Focus' adv goes like "if the world is such a diverse place, why are so many movies the same?" I haven't watched all their movies, but from the few i watched, i've already come to the conclusion that they produced different movies for Holleywood. Most Focus' movies dress one single theme by arranging many elements in an intricate story. However, Brokeback Mountain broke the routine, in which Focus focuses, while it employs a simple plot, which somehow echos longer.

I just watched 21 Grams tonight. Like it. How much does 21 grams weigh? What a question. I think this question weighs 21 grams as the ending of the movie. Mia shouldn't have told me what it means. It will difinitely be much more fun to chew on that but fail to figure out till the movie explains in the end. That would be a perfect shake to the core. ....... Mia!
